He'd known, even all those years ago, that she'd faced a great deal of loss already, had been questioning whether or not she was capable of giving her heart away again. "A bookshop, though?" he asks mildly, trying to tread cautiously over what he's not sure is entirely safe ground. "I wouldn't have thought you'd be able to tear yourself away from the theater."
