[Instinctively, Dave tips his head back to avoid Gamzee's attempt to remove his shades - even Tav hasn't seen his eyes yet, and he's sure as hell not letting Gamzee claim that particular privilege. Out of the corner of his eye, he watches Gamzee, lets the troll take his hand and run his fingers through that indigo blood.
He really doesn't hate Gamzee - doesn't really know him well enough to - but he knows that this is just about the only course of action left. And, if he's being completely honest with himself...he's curious. He's curious about what happens here, about the changes he's sensing in Gamzee.
So he digs deep, finds something in him to be angry about, lets it fill him with something that might not be hate yet - but could be, maybe.]
