[Porrim is lounging, fuming after yet another conversation between herself and Kankri. She has a feeling she wasn't the only one who left their little talk frustrated, but it was entirely his fault. How he always manages to simultaneously offend and defend whomever he's proselytizing to is beyond her.

To that effect, she's toying with her ankh staff, the cross-points of which are sharpened to a deadly point, tossing it back and forth from hand to hand. Probably best not to mess with her in this state.

A little ways away, she spies a certain Knight with her blank eyes. She hasn't met this one, yet. Porrim raises her chin and calls out.]

[Man, Dave just cannot handle all this shit. Dream bubbles and trolls and more trolls who are ancestors, but also aren't? Add all that to seeing his not!Bro again, and Dave's this close to doing the most acrobatic pirouette off the fucking handle.

It goes without saying, of course, that Rose is adjusting like a duck to fucking water. Dave's avoiding her.

Actually, Dave's been avoiding most of everyone, under the pretext of working on something - anything, really: new music, or some new tech, or new photographs. But apparently, today's not his day, because he's making his way across whatever crazy new bubble or some shit they've gone wandering through when somebody calls out to him.

It's the troll chick with the sweet ink, at least - not the crazy not!Karkat or the unintelligible dude with the helmet. Dave is totally capable of playing it cool with her.

[Her brow rings glint as she slowly raises an eyebrow, remaining expressionless otherwise. She wasn't expecting a monologue out of Strider, at least not from what little she had heard of him so far. Her hands still, the ankh staff resting in her right hand, and she sits up slightly.]

[Okay, time to recover. Dave adopts his best slouch, hands tucked into his pockets, and shrugs.]

[Porrim's not one for flattery, really—she knows how cool she is, after all—but that does make her mouth quirk into a little smile, because this is so much better than ruminating over Vantas.]

I haven't seen much o+f the o+ther Pyro+pe, to+ be ho+nest. I assume that is who+ yo+u're referring to+.

[She delivers the last word with a bit of a sly grin. She's always been tight-lipped about the teal blood, much to the consternation of a few of her more gossip-hungry friends. She looks Dave up and down—posture, sunglasses, hands in his pockets.]

[Apparently not. Some people are touchy about their reputations, she supposes. Porrim crosses one leg over the other, revealing that the spiral design across her chest and arms extends down her thighs as well.]

[Dave doesn't feel too bad about tracing that design with his eyes - his shades are dark enough that they'll hide his attention.

He jerks his chin at her legs after he's done with his perusal.]
